7.5 cubes, port back, sub inverted on top. Tuned around 40hz.
1 1500.1 SSX on each. Not an SPL set-up in the slightest, but would do 147.9 DAILY MUSIC.
Burped at 148.9 TL. At 12v or less. The non-nood will understand what this means. I could have done better.....
I had 4 2400 Kinetiks and still couldnt keep a 180a small case in business. Needed more room for another alt to be self sustaining. I ran the Rodeo for over a year, all around Indiana and Ohio to comps on batts alone.
Was the cleanest set of 15's i ever had that would run at that volume. Considering im 33, and have run more subs than i can remember, this is saying something. Yes, there are amny to choose from that will fit the bill for less, but IMO, if you have the dough, (or have a connect, which ya'll do ;) ) and the power, you cant go wrong with the SSX, or Treo in general.
yes it is Reece and it pounded but imma build a 6 cube box once my parents cool off ;) now tht gunna pound tune it to 32 for daily and 45 for comps since i peak at 49 hz
If you were to do comps I'd use interchanagable port unless you wanted to swap boxes.. I'd tune the daily to 28hz to have a low bass monster and for comps.. well its tricky. You want to find the resonant frequency of your car so its all trial and error. Best thing to do is start at 40hz and work your way up slowly. 6 cubes it a big too large for a single 15". Would make bottoming that sub out a possibility...
if you want SQL build a box 4 cubic foot before displacement.. tune it to 35hz with 60 square inches or port.. after displacement youll be around 3.7 cubic feet.. estimated not sure but it will pound
I tried to call today and they put me hold for 15min. And so I hung up and called back and they did the samething F U C K treo. I guess I'm going to start with 3.5cf. and go from there.
