Tuesday, September 26, 2006 - 22:46 GMT Pg xenon 400.1 You will get a 2 ohm load, so you need 400w rms at 2 ohms

Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - 01:05 GMT Those are 6" speakers, woofers to be exact. Are you using them as subwoofers, or full range? ---

Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - 04:43 GMT You're going to need a POWERFUL 4 channel, or two really powerful 2 channels.. unless you're willing to bridge two of sets to a 2 channel... because they're 8 ohm per speaker :\ I'll look up some amps.. can't think of one off hand that'd be ideal

Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - 15:08 GMT just get audiobahn a8000V, i think is a class A/B amp and that will do the job. Turn the gain down!

Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - 18:38 GMT so it doesn't necessarily have to be 400w rms, it can be greater just make sure the gain is turned down?

Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - 19:20 GMT just remember that if you choose a monoblock amp, like the one being suggested here, you will have a completely mono signal, meaning no stereo effect (no left and right), and no fader(no front and rear). same signal for every driver.

Friday, September 29, 2006 - 15:38 GMT so putting "speakers" on a mono amp just means that you lose balance and fade?
