the CD5000 isn't even their top model. CD7000 is better, but still lacks a couple of nice features. i haven't had a chance to mess with eclipse's new line up, but there were tons of threads on caraudio.com about the CD7000 a while back.
I just installed one yesterday and it has alot of nice options.. screen is even smaller in person than it looks online, though. It's not much different in size (Screen) than the Eclipse CD5000. I haven't personally dealt with the CD5000 for more than a few minutes, but from what I saw it's very confusing to navigate :\ as least compared to the 880PRS
I'd say 880PRS because of the SQ it's capable of producing..
My suggestion is to get a 860mp, they go for a hair over 200 shipped on ebay right now..
