Sealed Vs ported

Steve H Bronze Member Username: Ccdoggy Post Number: 48 Registered: Jul-06	Posted on Monday, September 25, 2006 - 21:22 GMT So i have a eclipse Ti 10" (~650rms). it is in a sealed 1.2cuft right now. however its not as loud as i would like it to be. How many times louder would you expect a sub to get if put into a ported box vs a sealed one? yes there is allot more to it then that but just generalize. For me it would be allot of effort fiberglasing and everything to make it ported. So i am wondering if its worth it. Thanks.
