Hey, i have 2 12" CVR's in my truck and i just got a 1200w boss amp. i want to run then on 2ohms but i dont know if i can bridge the subs on this amp. can u help please?
600w x 2 Max Power at 2 ohms 200w x 2 RMS Power at 4 Ohms 1200w x 1 Bridged power
thats what the amp really does, but not even.
You can wire your subs together to get a 2ohm load to the amp bridged, but I'm not sure if your amp is bridgeable x1 at 2ohms. And that amp really isn't powerful enough for your subs, your going to need atleast 800rmsx1 at 2ohms.
If your willing to spend some money for a better amp that will push those subwoofers then tell us how much you can spend, but that amp isn't powerful enough.
can not run at 2 ohms bridged, will burn it up, if those are dual 4s, run at 4ohm load bridged, or 2 ohm stereo(same power)and rms for those subs are 400w, even though that amp does not put out the power it is rated at, it should be ok, but look into getting a better amp.
ok, well im gonna save up and have about 400 to buy an amp. tell me whats the best amp i can get for these subs? im also in a 98 dodge ram 1500, so not much airspace under the back seat.
Some people say yes but I don't I've bought a amp and a cd player off ebay and I had problems with both I will never buy off ebay again. And thats my opinion.
Joey i own a refurb and i haven't had any problems. All depends if the thing is really a factory refurbished. Sometimes they use a new board and an old case, but sometimes they just fix the problem and call it a refurbished amp (unauthorized dealers)
ok i have two infinity 1030w that call for 250 rms and in .75 sealed. i have a box that is 1cf sealed and need a good amp to power them. any suggestions, or does anyone one have an oldy for sale?
