true there that is why im trying to see which would be the better sub. i have heard good things about both of them but i have heard the sq is better on the btl and it gets lower than the sx.
depends on what your looking for.. that BTL is not going to have much SQ.. its SPL oriented. Those two subs you are comparing are not in the same ballpark. Most closely compared would be the RE SX and the FI SSD.. You can also run that SX without doing a major electrical upgrade but now for the BTL you'd have to up your electrical more plus spend more money on power to feed it. Question is, what are you looking for? They are both well built subs but made for a different purpose.

Chad take the back seat out and have them firing towards the driver? that way you can see out of your rear veiw just not clearly because the thign will probably rattle off
take you backseats out chand and have the 18s firing towards the front? youll have plenty of room and you can still see out of your rear view but not technically because it will probably shake off
he coud fit them, but 18s need to be in the correct size box, sacrificing will hurt... thats why there are 15s... I bet each sub would like 7cubes EACH! to really peak... actually 1 18" BTL in a fULL wall would be louder.... than the 2....
