SoundStream is under rated(power wise). They make good, very good and ok amps. There low end line is the ok stuff(nothing special). The Pic stuff is very good and worth the money.
They are bringing back the Reference line and they should be Excellent!(I will buy two Ref 300.2 when released)
i don't think their new amps are overrated cuz i saw a benchtest result on the 3500d and was putting 3617 at 1 ohm. The problem with new soundstreams is the quality, cuz PA is making them.
New soundstream: accurately rated (good quality.) OLd soundstream: underrated and awesome quality.
not a fan of the new stuff, I would highly highly reccomend the old stuff. I still have a reference ss12 sub and a reference 300 waiting to be used in the right install
a guy posted the results here and man don't question the brand so hard! hehe they put some watts with good quality, not the way we want it but they're still putting them
