it isn't as loud nor as SQ oriented as the Q...but with the Flatwind coil option, it is comparable in output to the SX more so than in bewtween the SE and SX w/o the flatwind coil option
watt for watt, the SSD with the flatwind coil option or not, is louder than the Q, but once the SSD rubs out of xmax, the Q takes over.
i would say if you don't have 1000wRMS to throw at it, and you want more loudness than SQ, get the SSD over the Q.
