alrite 4 subs, all are about the same power ratings. which of these 4 is overall the best sub? looking for SQL. DD2512 JL W6 Fi SSD SI BM all in 12" thanks
i've heard both the jl and dd and both are great, cannot comment on the others though. also, what's your budget, or can you afford any of the above subs with the proper power?
just out those 4 please, unless you got another sub in about that power range, then feel free to tell me. budget for sub and amp is about $500 but could go up to $700 if need be.
2512 or arsenal would get the loudest, than the w6. never heard the fi or the bm. you can check there forums for more info on them, i don't think anyone here has heard either. w6 would definatley win in the sq department.
it all depends on how much power you plan on giving any of the aforementioned subs.....
the 2512 will take up to 1200-1500wRMS W6....not sure, dont care. lol SSD 600-1000wRMS...more with the flatwind coil option. BM 600wRMS but people throw 1000wRMs to them or so i am told.
middy's power comments are true. best to get what you can power best.
W6's are more SQ then SQL subs imo. i'd say the others will be much louder but may not sound as good. FI stuff is rather new, so i haven't heard much about them. Muddy is big into FI right now, lol. pretty much the new RE without the jacked up prices.
same with the BM's. smaller version of the SI Mags, which are suppose to be really nice.
and the DD stuff, don't know anything about their stuff....
alrite, i think i narrowed it down to an arsenal cause ive heard lots of good stuff about them and the DD 2512. thanks for the help. and if anyone wants to keep posting suggestions feel free to.
