Gold Member Username: Basshead86Google is your Friend, FL Post Number: 5851 Registered: Aug-05 | thank you marshall!!!!!!! i was starting to lose my mind. lol i never thought of it like that...so if i measure the outer wall of the port it would be even longer than 42 inches.... the one thing about subwoofer tools you have to mess around with is the Wooofer Xmax....is has a pre-designated Sq.In. of port per cube for X" subwoofer with X mm's of xmax...if you can see what i am saying. a 12" with 27mm of xmax on that site gives me like 20-22sq.in. of port per cube...i simply don't need that much. i know the higher the tune the more port area that is recommended...but the lower aka 30hz....20-22 sq.in. of port os kind of asinine to me. once again, thank you very much marshall, and you too kebo if he beat you to it. haha |
