lol, no offense, but are you trying to build the quietest sytem in the world? IMO I'd save my money and go for the TSX or the 2500 series... but other then that I'd pick Treo over the 1000 series, 2500 is DD's best sq driver next to the 9000's.

hehe well yea i guess it sounds pretty bad the way i worded it what i meant is which of the two would give better performance for the price, i found a tsi 15 for pretty cheap and a dd 1012 for about 100. I would love to get the other subs you mentioned if i wasnt on a budget

I think im gonna go with the tsi 15 for $150. Unless theres something better for that price

Yes sir, there is better for $150. Look into the AQ SD215, It's right around $155 shipped and it can take between 300 - 1k watts daily.

either way you will be happy.:-)

i personally would get the DD, b/c i love DD and they have awesome build quality....you treat that sub right and it will last for years to come.:-)

the 15" will more than likely give you more bang though. so have fun!

Treo TSis are pretty weak as far as SPL.

for $150, 2 kicker compvr 12s will be the best bet.

i heard 2 Tsi 12's in a Durango...it was pretty loud for the 600wRMS he had split between them.

like i said..i would get the 1012.:-)

and go buy a Xenon600.1 or something of that nature.:-)

alot of my buddies have kickers and thats the reason why i want to stay away from kickers, cause everyone has them

No disrespect Muddy, but I believe the AQ will be more for him due to the price and the flexibility of the subs power range... While DD are very power efficient subs, the AQ subs are built with power efficiency as a priority. B.D. would be able to run a cheap cheap budget amp around 300 watts for now and when he gets the money he could upgrade it to 1k for daily. Just my opinion but I think the AQ is more in his ballpark.

Muddy I love DD but AQ's owner is from DD's owners family . as i remember he is jassa's father . And they 're using the same Quality ..

Go to DD's forum and you will see it there ..

i have known that for probably 3 months.....

i was giving Audioque(aka Andrew) a harf time. :-)

the owner of Audioque is Jassa's father, DJ. his name is DD Senior on the forum. they are made in the same buildhouse as DD, but they do not feature the Free Flow Cooling System that DD does, thus cutting down the tooling process on the motors TREMEDNOUSLY...making it possible for them to be sold at a very very low price as compared to the machined DD's.:-)
