Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 265 Registered: Jul-06 | Nothing against anyone on this site... But just my personal preference, I want a sub that the website doesnt talk about home audio use. I want something too loud for a home audio set up. Just my preference. You think I could do 150's w/ the 2 18" audioques? |

Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 267 Registered: Jul-06 | I'm thinkin 2 DD 9515's powered by 2 RF T20001bd's. Or 2 Treo SSx 18's on 2 kicker zx2500.1's. Will a 220 amp alt. work on both of those setups? I'll prob run a optima red top under the hood and 2 kinetik batteries... |

Gold Member Username: Basshead86Google is your Friend, FL Post Number: 5334 Registered: Aug-05 | dude....there used to be a DD dealer in my town..until he closed down and tell me, why would you put more power to the SSx's and less to the 9500's??? lol i would put 3000wRMS a piece on the 9500's and less on the SSx's. ask Polo...hahahahahahahaha |

Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 268 Registered: Jul-06 | Idk, I might switch up those amps... I really like the RF power series amps and the same w/ kicker zx amps. If I did the S.I. Mags, I'd prob over power them way to much w/ the type of setup I'm looking for. I want to be able to compete w/ this setup, and possibly do over 150 DB as a daily driver... The 9900's are lookin pretty secksy for the overall setup I'm looking for. But its def. between the SSx, 9515, S.I. Mag's or the AQ HD3 18"s (when they make n appearance). |
Silver Member Username: DelsolePost Number: 654 Registered: Feb-05 | them 18's would make a crazy system just bein the poin that there 18's. |
Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 269 Registered: Jul-06 | yea i know lol, I wish the 9500's came in 18's, that would be a no brainer... |
Silver Member Username: DelsolePost Number: 661 Registered: Feb-05 | ya i think i wouuld still take the 9500's but 18's would be insane |
Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 270 Registered: Jul-06 | I hate not having any money... lol |
Silver Member Username: ShowridesHartford, CT USA Post Number: 302 Registered: Feb-06 | You really should contact Kevin@low-hz.com. He can get you the DD's probably, and also the SI mags. The DD's will get crazy loud, and the 95's are plenty good. If you are going for pure SPL the 95's would do the trick, and the 99's would be the best if you had excessive amounts of money haha. But the mags will get you in the 150's with a proper install, and sound better than the DD's. So it all depends what you want to do. Right now 2 mag 12's are hitting a legal 152 on a TL. So the 15's would work well for the low to mid 150's, but the DD's of course are just crazy SPL subs. |
Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 273 Registered: Jul-06 | showrides, how many watts are those mag 12's getting? I've heard the DD's have amazing sq for being known as an spl sub, although i've also heard the mags have top notch sq... I'd like to hear the mags for myself, if yall ever come down to fla. lemme know lol. |
Gold Member Username: RedlinerWilmington, Ma Post Number: 2291 Registered: Jun-05 | dd does have amazing sq for a sub that gets that loud and for anyone that wants to know dd's are not spl they are sql subs they were created for studio's which need great sq im not saying there better then a mag but still great and i would rather own a dd wait i do lol |
Silver Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 869 Registered: Jun-06 | i want to get the dd 2515 cuase i hear it sounds good and can get crazy loud |
Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 275 Registered: Jul-06 | charlie, you have your DD stuff hooked up? You think the 9515's will get mad louder on 2500 watts a piece then the mags on 1500 a piece? |
Gold Member Username: Basshead86Google is your Friend, FL Post Number: 5401 Registered: Aug-05 | that isn't even a question.....lolol |

Gold Member Username: Basshead86Google is your Friend, FL Post Number: 5406 Registered: Aug-05 | i believe the 9500's sounds AWESOME(ask JAmes Longo, he will tell you as well)...they are CRYSTAL CLEAR DISTORTION FREE ACCURATE DRIVERS despite what many people think when they hear "DD"...and seeing as they take a considerable amount more of power...i don't think it comes close. |
Silver Member Username: Atllefty12Pinellas, Fla. Post Number: 282 Registered: Jul-06 | u think theyll get kind of loud on 2500 watts each? |
