Well its time to pick out me a new sub finnally. ive been doing installs for others to save some money. I have a 2.25 cu ft box(28hz) after port displacment. I have 1 eD NINe.1 amp for power but can get another eD NINe.1 if that sub needs the power. I cant have a bigger box that one barley fits in the trunk with the nitrous bottle. I want a good mix of SPL and SQ maybe a 60/40 mix. My Spending limit would be 500 dollars for the 1 12". I have a HO alt and the big 3 upgrade.
Hmmm.. I'm running an SX as well.. its a 15" though but Its too loud. You literally can't sit in my car and listen to bassy songs without it killing your ears or making it hard for you to breathe lol...so I've got it turned down until I go to comps. What about adding one more?
Just 1000wrms but I think my amp is under-rated so more along the lines of 1166wrms. About to be sending 1800wrms to it soon as I get that 35.1 from Marshall.. damn paypal takes too long to transfer funs from my bank.. grr. Its in a 4^3ft box after displacement of sub and port tuned to 35hz. It does a 145.7 on a TL under the dash @ 45hz.
Ever got it metered? Btw.. 28hz for a 12? Kinda low IMO... should be more around 31 considering the Fs for the 12 SX. It you re-tuned that box to 35hz that SX would get a lot louder .. Btw. What are the box external dimensions??
