Stripped screw

ok i was screwing my screws in the sub into the box and i completed stripped teh screws i mean like completly and i need to take my subs out to re-wire them up correctly so anyideas on how i can get the screws out idk what to do.

You can get a screw extractor. It is used like a drill but is designed to bite in the tip of the screw. Turn it counter clockwise and it will pull out the stripped screws.

drill the screws out, or go to SEARS and buy their bit set for about $20 that's designed to remove stripped screws by biting into the heads. The bits are hex base and fit cordless screwguns or hand held socket drivers.

do i actully drill into the screw to pull it out or what exactly do i do.

just take a drill bit the size of the body of the screw, and screw through the head. the head will "pop off" and you can pull out the body with pliers or something.

i am having a hard time picturing pulling the body of the screw out with a pair of plyers...mental block. lol

once you drill the head off, and remove the sub, you can take the body of the screw out if desired, using vice grips.
penetrating oil can help with that
