Saturday, August 26, 2006 - 12:45 GMT just use a PVC tube to desired size.. and get a metal mixing bowl.. put the PVC end onto the mixing bowl and heat it up until you get the desire flare

Sunday, August 27, 2006 - 03:16 GMT yep...that works great for 4" pipe. didnt i show yall my bowl mold awhile back for 4"? (maybe it was on another board) 6" gets alot trickier, the pipe tries to buckel if you dont have support inside the pipe...you pretty much have to build a good mold if you wanna flare very large at all. ------------------------------ To find box rise you need a true RMS multimeter and an amp clamp. run a tone to your sub and measure both AC voltage and current. do NOT put the meters on peak hold. hold the tone for 3-5sec and read the meters at the same time!!! Volt / Amps = Imp that will give you box rise at that frequency...it will be different at every freq.
