I know somebody that owned the truck before me had a system in it because they left the ground wire for an amp it it. I just want to know if i have a HO alt in it. I have one sony 800w 4/3/2 channel amp and two alpine 600w monoblock amps powering a Treo TSX 15 so thats 1200w just for the sub. The amps have a built in volt meter on them and they stay at around 13.4 to 13.6 volts. Even when im blasting my music pretty loud. I keep the bass on the amps are on zero and the gain is down as well and i keep my HU base setting on zero and it hits pretty hard. But sometimes i put the base all the way up on my HU and the sub just gets crazy loud. My lights dont dim at all and like i said the voltage according to my amps dont go down. Is this normal? Is my alt just gonna crap out all of sudden? Here are some pics of my alt. <img> <img> |
