Gold Member Username: IlluminatorUSA Post Number: 4416 Registered: Apr-05 | A yellow top(deep cycle) is great if you're running the car with the system off all the time with an isolater, therefore you would simply run the yellow top down, then the lead acid would start the car right up and you could recharge the yellow top. The main reason the yellow top would be desirable is because it can be discharged up to 80% without damage. However, if you're running your system with your car on all the time, a standard lead-acid battery will be MUCH better. Lead acid batteries can supply a lot more current than yellow tops. |
