Silver Member Username: Extremesound1Coventry, RI United states Post Number: 210 Registered: Mar-06 | Im getting 1 15in comp vx @ 1000watt rms The amp im getting is the hifonics bxi1206d rms=450@4 ohm rms=900@2 ohm and rms=1200@1 ohm should i get the 2 ohm sub to make a 4ohm or a (1!) ohm or a 4 ohm sub to make it 2ohm because 1 ohm will be over powering it but hifonics amps are overated should that be alright???? |

Silver Member Username: Killer44Ontario Canada Post Number: 632 Registered: Dec-04 | get a dvc 2ohm sub and run it parallel to 1ohm the amp will put out around 1000watts b/c they are overrated and aside from that amp being overrated that cvx should be able to hanle some extra power, but 1ohm will be the best way to run that sub with that amp.. |
