Silver Member Username: N2audioLawrence, Ks USA Post Number: 962 Registered: Mar-04 | actual power of the 1400D is probably pretty close to the HF, and I would consider the Lanzar slightly better in overall quality. The few bench test results that have shown up on the Brutus amps continually show them to fall short of thier power ratings, and I've never known of an Optidrive that wasn't at least a little UNDER-rated, some models being VERY under-rated. In the big picture they're very comparable amps, but I personally lean a little to the Optidrive. |

Post Number: 1914 Registered: Dec-05 | i'd say just the optidrive and maybe some monoblocks, cuz lanzar has pretty bad products... about the warranty, IDK but i've seen lanzar refurbs with 1 year warranty... a lil list of lanzars good amps would be: Optidrive line Lanzar vibe 1200d(underrated!) and 1800d( 4x30A fuses) i own it and it does the job nicely. Heritage 2600d (around 1500w rms for less than 250$) Vibe 3100d (overrated cuz it claims 3000w but it puts 1700w rms for less than 350$) other amps are kinda questionable... |

What am i paying extra for? The BXi 1606D is huge its 1100 Rms @ 2ohms way more than i need. I only have 2 Infinity kappa perfect 12.1s Rated at 350 Rms a peice. If the Sq is Noticable better in the opti Drive i might Get it but its only rated a 650 Rms @ 2 ohms i dont want to over heat it or send a clipped signal. |

Am i likely to blow 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1's with a BXi 1606D? There both single coil 4 ohms so a 2 ohm load. the subs are rated at 350 each and the amp is rated at 1100 rms but i hear it only puts out 900 Rms. but wouldnt the amps signal be very clean going to the subs making them less likely to blow? i just dont want to like crank it up and then blow my subs so idk maby i should get the BXi 1206D |
