Hi Pplz,

I'm getting Kicker SX650.1, & 1x JL 12" Sub (12w6v2), please recommend proper gage wires or kit & capacitor. give me few choices. Thank you.

4 gauge amp kit and you don't really need a cap.

What is it you want to be "safe" from?

i really don't know, i'm totaly new to all this stuff, bestbuy & some websites were recommending it, i know cab hold charge so i guess the battery won't drain?
well you guys r the pro, so please advice.
PS: would you recommend any brand name for 4 gauge amp kit?

bb will always recommend you buy something else, that's what they get paid to do.

Yes a cap holds charge - but what do you think has to charge it? Your alternator.

They don't help anything, they don't fix anything. Mainly, they spice up a fancy installation, but as far as improving your electrical system -- you don't need one.

kicker is good, phinoex gold, rockford fosgate is good too... but i recommend this..

oh and u don't need a cap unless u have serious dimming of headlights and stuff like that..
