Wednesday, August 16, 2006 - 03:43 GMT well if i have a nine.1 (1200 rms @ 1 ohm) then it would be better to get the two 1000 series subs... the Power Handling RMS/Music/Peak is 300/600/1200 so two of those on a nine.1 would be good correct??? bc the 2500 series are 500/1000/2000 so the nine.1 wouldnt be enough for two of the 2500's right??

Wednesday, August 16, 2006 - 04:12 GMT the 2500's(and all of DD's subs for that matter) are VERY efficient. They get loud on not a lot of power, due to the light MMS(moving mass) and powerful motor. i had my 2510 on a US Amps 4300x bridged....recieving about 200ishwRMS...and that b1tch banged. really suprised people that it was a single 10". now i have it on a DLS A6(and i know i have told this story a million times. lol) and it is receiving 900ishwRMS and it f*cking quakes for a single ported 10". i can shake sh1t off my dash with test tones and bass mekanik. the 1000 series i have been told in the right enclosure and with clean watts can take up to 750wRMS!!!!! i would personally rather have the 2500's...just incase one day you want to get another nine.1

Wednesday, August 16, 2006 - 04:21 GMT i think it is like james says. RMS per coil. and Music is combined. they are underated though. my 2510 got loud on 200wRMS. and just about comes out of the box on 900 they will do nicely on 600 a piece.

Wednesday, August 16, 2006 - 04:23 GMT you seem very skeptical on the DD's. go on the DD forum and ask them whether you should get the 1000 series or 2500 series. i would rather have the one that has room for improvement, and a less likely chance of blowing if clip the amps. lol(big thread about that one)

Wednesday, August 16, 2006 - 04:25 GMT don't forget the nine.1 is underrated. it's 1200wrms @ 12v. check their forum and everyone using them say they bench at up to 1500wrms.
