You know, all I know is it displays everything I need, I don't think it shows the album art but shows song, artist/title, play list, genre, all that good sh!t, most I do not use. I can say it is flawless and has no static like with an Ipod adapter. You can also download a program from Pioneer to make a clip art disk and download it as a visualizer for the screen, pretty bad @ss! I bought mine on line, figured anything would be better than stock. Polo..
