Posted on Is the 1920 watts maximum power or continuous (RMS) power? I'd get the cap out of the system, how long has the cap been in there?
And when did the problem first appear? |

Posted on 1920 is maximum power the amp is rated at 440 watts RMS x 2, i've had the cap since june,
my car started turnin off every once in a while about a month ago, now it turns off at least once a day |

Posted on I would guess the alternator is going bad on you, 880 watts RMS is a lot of power for a stock alt, especially with the added burden of a cap. |
