Silver Member Username: Big_fletchNewport, Ar, Ar United states Post Number: 396 Registered: May-06 | im not sure he was wantin 2 channel but u think mono would work out better for him? |
Gold Member Username: IlluminatorUSA Post Number: 3873 Registered: Apr-05 | I think it's more of a matter of what he'll have to work with. There might be a good buy out there on a two channel that can be bridged that would work great for his sub, and vice versa (minus the bridging) for a mono amp. Personally, I'd grab the sub and speakers first, it works out better because amps usually have more flexibility as far as that goes-and ultimately the speaker is going to make a bigger difference in the final sound than the amp will. |

Silver Member Username: Big_fletchNewport, Ar, Ar United states Post Number: 403 Registered: May-06 | so u think u should just push one of those subs about 400 rms watts? or what how many rms u suppose to push the sub |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 1277 Registered: Feb-06 | looks like on the jl site their black zone, were the warrenty voids, is about 750-800wrms on it and about 400wrms is optimum. i'd give it a clean 400-500wrms. |
Silver Member Username: Big_fletchNewport, Ar, Ar United states Post Number: 404 Registered: May-06 | aw crap u think if my friend got 4 of them with 500 watts on each sub he could out beat me in db's with 2 kicker 15 L7s? |
Silver Member Username: Big_fletchNewport, Ar, Ar United states Post Number: 405 Registered: May-06 | it would sound better i know but would it be louder than them 15's? |
