Should I buy a DD 9515 for $350?

Think its a good deal? How much are they new? I already have a 15" AA Avalanche is there alot of difference in SPL and SQ between the two?

also is there a desent amp between $250-$300 to power a dual 1.5ohm DD 9515?

the new dd 9515 is $600 new from the dd site. thats the dual 2 ohm version... theres really no amp that cheap to power the dd, even on ebay. The only way your gonna get an amp that cheap is if you can get it at dealers price.

Does it have to have alot of power to sound good or would it be fine with like 1000watts untill I can get enough cash for a better amp

well its a very efficient motor so I guess it will make some sound until you can get enough cashhhhh, you should just wait and buy the sub and amp when you have the cash, this is coming from someone who was in ur shoes lol.

$350 is a STEAL.

DD's will get loud on not a lot of power, they have efficient motors, and very light moving mass, the suspension is what is the stiff part.:-)

lol im buying it from someone who lives out of town and is gonna be in town this weekend so I have to buy it this weekend if I dont wanna pay for shipping. Im in kind of a tough spot

nice I got a box now thats 3.3ft^3 tuned to 27hz that I used for my Avalanche should I use that or should I build a different box thats still 3.3ft^3 (its the biggest that will fit in my car) tumed to a higher frequency? If so what frequency?

The sub is dual 1.5ohm. Should I run the amp at .75 ohm or should I just stick with 3ohms?
