Bronze Member Username: Chornet44Post Number: 18 Registered: Jul-06 | im not an expert but i think the only thing that could make a difference where you place it is three things...1 being heat. you dont wanna mount it somewhere where it has a better chance of overheating. 2 being length of wire, power wire and speaker wire. 3 being the obvious you dont want to mount it where it will be easily damaged or moved around |

You don't want your amp shutting off from high temps and overall degrading the lifespan of the amp. If it's unavoidable get external fans. 2. Not enough wire=you can't put it there haha. 3.
