Tuesday, August 01, 2006 - 20:05 GMT Due to space I am thinking about either putting in one RE 10 in a sealed box or one 8 Arc Audio in my 2005 f-150. Which would sound better?

Tuesday, August 01, 2006 - 20:18 GMT It is an extended cab but I want to be able to keep my jack and all that under there like it came from the factory. the sealed box would only be about .65 so i am leaning towards the ported box due to more air movement.

Tuesday, August 01, 2006 - 20:21 GMT the guy at the stereo shop really sold me on the 8 said he put this exact set up in 2 other f-150's just like mine and it sounded much better than the 10.

Tuesday, August 01, 2006 - 20:44 GMT No but he says that since the 10 box would be so small and sealed that the 8 in a larger ported box would sound better.
