Bronze Member Username: 98auroradkmPost Number: 22 Registered: Jun-06 | I was thinking about getting a hifonics brutus 1606 to power my two 800 watt rms 10's that are 6ohm and have 3" dual voice coils. I have been looking at other threads and saw that hifonics tends to be overrated. With that being the case, will this amp power my subs good, or should I look elsewhere? I really just want something under $300 that will make my subs pound. |

Gold Member Username: JuliobSanto DomingoDominican Re... Post Number: 1597 Registered: Dec-05 | you're going to underpower them, you'll see, cuz the amp will put the power at 1 ohm, and your subs are at 1.5, good luck |
Gold Member Username: Dustin3Tigard, OR U.S. Post Number: 2864 Registered: Oct-05 | you will be givin them around 500-600 each. and stereoproz is the same guy that went around yesterday posting all of the amp guts pics |
