Blaupunkt IVDM-7002 region change

Does anyone know how to change the region code for this unit. It's a bit of a pain that everything else works except the DVD player.

(no touch screen) turn the thing on with the remote control press 1379 then ENTER (with remote control) Youll be driven to a menu down the screen and just go and swich things...

It is a european unit and we moved to the states, so it cannot read the region on the DVD. The nav is region 2 while the DVD-ROm is region1. Does anyone know how to change the region code on the unit? Many thanks in advance
