Had a couple of questions for ya'll real quick: What tools are going to be necessary for this install? The alternator is right on the top of the engine when I pop the hood so I'm expecting this to be pretty easy... It's going into a 99 Camry... and I plan on upgrading the Big 3 - where can I buy 1/0ga. wire? I was planning on taking some pictures of the current alternator and putting them on here so maybe you guys could point out what exactly has to be done (I don't quite consider myself a mechanic)... so I hope that'll help. How exactly do you loosen the belt? Perhaps I'll figure this out when I get under the hood, but its always good to be prepared. Thats all I got for now. Hopefully if all goes well I'll take some pics! Dave |
