Will this sub get louder than 2 type-r's. From what i hear it does. But i just want to get rid of my type-r's and get one of these for now and then get another one later on. What do you think.
no. that sub i believe is 400rms. one type r is 500rms, and 2 would be 1000rms. the type rs together would also have twice the cone area as the JL. i think that one 12w6v2, would be as loud as 1 type r.
Well compared with the type-R. I want something that will hit harder than my type-r's. Right now i only have one installed and just got another one brand new still in the box. But i already want to get rid of them for something that hits harder. Which means im selling one type-r that has been used for a week and another one that is brand new in the box. I had two alpine MRD-605 amps to power each of them. I will be using the same amps for whatever i get most likely. So i just want something else with more spl and i was looking at JL.
