hifonics interests me since it's what i already have, tx1005d.
not very overrated, mine puts out 95% of rms rating.
not sure of the budget, less the better but I dont want to sacrifice quality.. so no lanzar walmart b.s.
but now.. im reading that my subs are 3.1ohms per coil and that as long as i have my gains set properly i'll be okay with a 1.7 load at between 700-900 watts.
I was thinking of my old Orion, may it rest in peace. That thing pounded the crap out of my CVRs before the mounts snapped, fell off the back of my seat and shorted out.
The Mach-1 birth sheet reads;
"Total RMS Watts @1ohms = 1377
Total RMS Watts @ 2ohms = 1033
Total RMS Watts @ 4ohms = 688
Totals based on a 14.5v load, 14.4v common load applies to all totals within 10 watts or .7 amps."
Anyways, I'm not here to dispute my amp's specifications. I'm here looking for another that will put out 1000+ rms @ 2 ohms.
Suggestions? Keep them coming. I don't want the same amp that everyone else has....
