New member Username: Wild4blondesPost Number: 1 Registered: Jul-06 | I have a Pyle Marine Amp Item # PLMRA220 2 Channel 600 Watt Waterproof Marine MOSFET Amplifier PDF Link http://www.pyleaudio.com/manuals/PLMRA220-420.pdf I'm having a problem getting it to Power up, I have the Power & Ground connected to the battery's + - correctly i have the Ground wire connected to the Amp's Ground screw But here's what's happening, When i connect the power cable to the +12v Batt screw no power induction lights come on, But when i connect the power cable to the REM screw the large blue light on the face plate lights up for a few seconds and then quickly fades away and then there's no power going through the Amp & the Power LED indicator never lights up no matter what i do, I tried Grounding it to the chassis but when i do that nothing lights up either way. Do you have any ideas on how to fix the problem?? Also i'm using the Low Level Inputs. Thanks for any help, Curtis |

Silver Member Username: Van_manBoston South, MA Post Number: 774 Registered: Mar-06 | You need to power both the + and the rem. The rem should connect to the HU to turn it on/off. You could also put a switch on the rem to controll it as well. But again, both the amps + and rem need constant 12 volt. |
