Bronze Member Username: BlazerboyPost Number: 82 Registered: Jun-06 | Hey boys, OK well I just got a new Audiobahn a8002v amp to power some RF Punch 12" stage 1 subs. So i basily got the amp becasue i wanted something to ower my crappy RF's but i want it to be able to power a couple 400 rms subs in teh future. But anyway, im looking to give the subs 200 watts rms each for a total of 400rms. Since it has 2x 400W RMS @ 2 Ohms and 2x 200W RMS @ 4 Ohms im pretty sure this could be done since the subs are 4 ohm single VC. But my question is how would i do this? Is it a matter of wiring it different or do i have to just change a setting on the amp? Thanks in advance. |

Silver Member Username: Killer44Ontario Canada Post Number: 596 Registered: Dec-04 | yep and then when u will get better subs you will get dvc 4ohm subs and wire each sub to a channel to present the amp with a 2ohm load per channel and then your amp will put out 400x2 @2ohms... |
