How do i connect a 240v home amp to my car head unit

ive brought 12v to 240v inverter for my car so theres plenty power ive connected rca cables from my amp to head unit but all i get is static coming from the speakers!??!?? can any one help

well, with that converter your not gonna get enough amps to run an amp or a head unit, maybe a head unit but not an amp over 100watts
