I got a decent amp right now that's a Directed Audio Viper 1200.1d and it is 1ohm stable. does modifying the amplifier to hold 1/2ohm increase the rms of the amp or what. what would this actually help with modifying it to run 1/2ohm, and do it safely. this is just a curious questin i've been wondering. thanks for the help guys. |

Silver Member Username: Sw9152Michigan Post Number: 863 Registered: Feb-06 | you could run the amp at 1/2 ohm right now it would just heat up quickly. you could do like 30 sec burps at 1/2 and daily driving use it at 1 ohm. |
