Post Number: 617 Registered: Feb-06 | ok so i anit got no room an ill b makin a custom custom box 2 fit in the back of a firebird limited space so now i can only fit a 2.6cuft box i had a 2.6 ported box wit 1 12 an den threw in a seald 2.6 with 2 12s an its seald so now untill i finish da new box say i put in 2 4inch pvc pipe ports 1 in each chamber 1.3cuft tuned @ 35hz with a 4inche port 2 alpine 12 type rs will it b louder i no its 3db gain from seald 2 port so will it b way louder but i never ported small box only big 1s an half of the port will b inside box an other half out of box sinc eits small 17.75d 13h an 12.4w an there anit no room b subs lol only side |

Post Number: 8552 Registered: Jul-05 | have u checked 2 see if 2 4" pipes will fit such a small 1.3cuft ? http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp i noticed with such small volumes its almost impossible 2 use such large diameter pipes coz it needs 2 be long - a 3" pipe should be able 2 fit more comfortably in that space...... |
