Posted on the higher the better yes.. if signal was a tv and noise was a magnet that s/n ratio is telling you how far away the magnet is from the tv (a magnet makes the tv screen turn red or green) |

Theoretically - yes, but don't decide on an amp based only on that spec (which you won't hear anyway) In many cases - the different measurement methods of S/N can skew the specs. Like most published numbers on an amp - this one doesn't mean much. |
