This may be a stupid question, but I was moving my sub and I got a small cut in the rubber that goes around the outside of the subwoofer. I tryed to fix it by putting some ruber gasket sealer over it. Will the sub ever work the same? I have not installed it yet, it is brand new. will the small hole kill the sound of the sub? Any info would be great.

Yeah, It should be aight depending on the hole size. As long as theyr is not like a section an 1/2 inch missing it should be ok. But if your using a sealed box there might be some undesired air noise from the back pressure of the speacker.
