New recommendations for a system in a 72 2wd blazer

I have a 72 2wd blazer and I'm setting it up to show with the top off. I want to put a system in, but I don't want to spend THAT much, but I do want a decent setup. Can anyone recommend the following??? Amps Subs Type of box Component speakers Thanks!!!

I'm trying to get a full system for about $1000. I think one of the threads that I saw had a price on a treo sub for $2500!!! Wow!!!
