Bronze Member Username: JeepgcPost Number: 31 Registered: May-06 | Well 1500wrms that 2 15" Type R's can handle will ultimately put too much stress on your alternator. I'd say downsize to 2 12" Type R's if you're stuck on that model which only would handle 1000wrms, give or take. I personally have a Type R 12" and I really like it. If you want R's yourself than I'd go with 12s as 15s would be too much for your alternator if you were to get an amp that would adequitely power them. |

Silver Member Username: StnorrisEldridge, IA US Post Number: 621 Registered: Apr-06 | no. just cause you get another amp doesnt mean there will be any less stress on your alternator. 2 of those amps would be 1600rms, you dont really want to go over around 1000-1100 rms on your stock alt. |
