Bronze Member Username: Robman0079Post Number: 99 Registered: Jun-06 | I dont think you need a new alternator for this amp. I have two amps running 90 amps and my lights dont even dim. But hey whatever floats your boat. |
Bronze Member Username: Naledge503Portland, Oregon U.S. Post Number: 19 Registered: Jun-06 | ok, I had a a8002t which is the 2 channel version of the a8000t. I had 2 audiobahn aw1005n dvc 4ohm. the a8002t is mono at 4 ohms. i decided i would wire it mono on the subs dropping it to 2ohms i assume and see what would happen so I went cruising, blasting my stereo for about 2 hours before the amp shut off, then it only took like 3 mins before it came on again. I had that amp for almost a year after that before i sold it to my brother who still uses it. I also sold him the subs which he still uses. why does everybody hate audiobahn so much, i know there is way better out there but from my experience it wasnt all that bad. |
