New member Username: KungwazPost Number: 3 Registered: Jul-06 | Will this make it parallell connected? so the Amp runs on 50Wx4 @ 4Ohms RMS ? If I have understod that correct, do I use the most of the system then? or must I have a better Amp, or another Amp to use the speakers full potential? If I would use all speakers except for the rear (trunk), can I then connect the front speakers on channels 1 & 2, + to +, - to -. And the rear (back seat) on channels 3 & 4 ? so that the fron runs on 50W, 4 Ohms, and the rear speakers on 100W, 2 Ohms? |

Gold Member Username: TjmutlowPost Number: 2609 Registered: Sep-05 | use all of the speakers and the amp will run at 2ohm load per channel, take the fronts and dash wire front left + to +, - to -, then attach to channel 1, do the same for right side, attach top channel 2, use the rear and trunk and do it the same way, just use channel 3 and 4... |

Wich would make it more risky to blow the speakers, if they are parallel connected. To be on the safe side I think it's better to connect them in series. (Am I way off?) |
