Posted on I have 4 12" type-r's, 6000W MAX, if i run my 3 KX2500.1 would that be close to blowing the subs up, since its 7500W on them??????? |

Posted on your type R's are 1600w rms, if they're dual 4 ohm you should get a 2 ohm stable amp, like kicker ZX 1500.1 or orion 2500d. If they're dual 2 ohm get an amp 1 ohm stable, check hifonics 2006d or an amp that puts 1600w rms at 1 ohm |

Posted on the rms on a type'r is 500 watts. This means you need at least a 2000 watts amp to power them. |
