No sound please help

i have pioneer head unit in my car and i have sound coming out of my sub but not the speakers. every things hooked up right and i cant figure out what the problem is. please help me figure it out

you prob need to hook the blue wire from radio to amp turn on wire for the car.

What are you driving? You could have a factory amp in it.

it is a pioneer head unit DEH-1500 in a 1984 lincoln town car. the speakers are not hooked up to an amp but the sub is. the blue wire from the sub amp is hooked up still no sound

No no no, what I mean by a factory amp is that the original radio you had in your car was wired to a factory amp that has always been in the car powering your factory speakers. When you put in a new head unit, the factory amp needs to be bypassed (thats if your vehicle has one).

Look up your vehicles information and see it is has one. If it doesn't, then check all the wires behind your Pioneer, make sure they are all secure and none are touching eachother!
