Question about porting a box

Ok. I have a 12" Cerwin Vega Vmax and for ported box it says 1 cubic foot airspace with dual 26" ports. How do I do the ports at that length in such a small box? Do I make two 13 inch ports with bends or what? Any help would be appreciated.
