Component= midbass and tweeter are seperate-the tweeter is usually mounted on the A pillar
2 way and three way speakers have the tweeter mounted to the speaker itself. 2 way has a midbass and tweeter and three way has a midbass, tweeter, and midrange normally.
the ones i mentioned are all component speakers. 2 and 3 way coaxial speakers are different than component. on a coaxial speaker all the speakers are on one individual speaker and they dont have a crossover.
