i member a while back someone came up with the theory that hookin up an old alt to a 1500rmp fan motor would make a good power supply. anyone try it yet? when i get my new alt from nate ill be the guinni pig if i have to.
of course it does. Probably not good for your electric bill, But hey, your bumpin. Personally I would use a 208/240 volt motor with a speed control to obtain ideal rpms.
