New member Username: DumbomustflyPost Number: 1 Registered: Jun-06 | Just put in a new head unit and interior speakers. Went w/ tma interior speakers, they sound clear but lack bass. So long story short, what's the best 10in sub I can get for under $200. Any help/opinions appreciated. |

New member Username: DumbomustflyPost Number: 2 Registered: Jun-06 | I don't have an amp either. I'll need to pick up one of those also. Just got the car 3 days ago, and I'll most likely make my own fiberglass box. Don't want to lose any cargo space in the 06' xterra since I want to keep that area functional. |

Gold Member Username: Alias747MN Post Number: 1103 Registered: Apr-05 | Wouldn't 400 wrms to a Arsenal be way underpowering it? I would think so. |
Gold Member Username: CenusHicksville, Ohio Usa Post Number: 1968 Registered: Jan-05 | the recomended power is 400wrms, so i would think the 400.1 would push it nicely, but if you want more power look into the kx600.1, or mtx801d. |

Silver Member Username: GagePost Number: 323 Registered: Feb-06 | trevor those spl's are jl audio v1s just reconed or something like that and yes a 400.1 would be way underpowering an arsenal maybe he ment an assasian |
New member Username: DumbomustflyPost Number: 3 Registered: Jun-06 | is aa arsenal an abbreviation for anything(sorry for sounding stupid) also alpine type r's or jl w3's- which would be the better overall product/value. |
Bronze Member Username: Tdawg30Ohio USA Post Number: 26 Registered: Jun-06 | so are they as good as the jl's then???? |
Silver Member Username: GagePost Number: 325 Registered: Feb-06 | dumbo i would say the type rs will get louder and have good sq and the w3 wont be as loud but have really great sq from what ive heard and no the spls arent as good as the jls because of the build quality |
Silver Member Username: StamantPensacola, FL USA Post Number: 194 Registered: Sep-04 | I have two 10" arsenals in a 2.4 cu ft box tuned to 35 Hz powered by and elemental designs NINe.1 amp at 1200W x1. I enjoy showing my system off because they never guess that I have 10's. Most guess I have two 12's and a few have thought I had 15's. No joke. IMHO these are the best 10's under 200. Get them and you will see. Just make sure you give them enough power because they are power hungry. |
