Wire and distribution block?

Silver Member Username: Timothy_314Post Number: 210 Registered: May-06 | #1 im gettin this amp HIFONICS BXi 2006D #2 im gonna be runnin new wire and im cunfused  b/c i don't know what i should use like a Distribution block b/c there is alot of kinds like Distribution Block Fuse Distribution Block Ground Distribution System witch one should get?? im gonna be runnin probably 0 gauge wire to a 2 gauge wire so hopfuly that helps :-D #3 do you know of a site that i could get cheap good power wire and gound wire? THANKS!! |

New member Username: CjohnsonGilman, Iowa Post Number: 6 Registered: Jun-06 | #1 Good amp, I'm proud of you;) #2 just a Distribution block should be fine, it's what I use, but if you want the added safety and ease of mind, I would go for a Fused dist block. make sure it has a 0 gauge in and 2 gauge out, you'll want two, one for power one for ground. #3 I like knukonceptz.com Their Kolossus Kable is good stuff, and I dont consider 2.59 a bad price for per foot for 0 gauge. |

Silver Member Username: Timothy_314Post Number: 220 Registered: May-06 | i cant find the fuse rating any where for that amp what if i did #1 300 amp fuse for the 0 gauge power wire #2 then 100 amp fuse for the D. block (its gonna be 4 gauge wire off of that to my amp) my ground wire off of my amp sould be 4 gauge if i do the 4 g. to the amp right? and some one said that amp is 2 100 amps fuses so would i be ok? with all that ive said? |
